Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to women, infants, and children enrolled in the program.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated health services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulations.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Knowledge of women, infant, and child health care practices.
Desired Experience
- Minimum of 2 years and maximum of 5 years of nursing experience in a relevant field.
- Experience in maternal and child health, public health nursing, or related specialty.
- Familiarity with health education and community outreach initiatives.
