Job Description

Description A fast-paced manufacturing and distribution company in San Marcos is hiring an HR Specialist to support their growing workforce. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the central point of contact for employees, thrives in a hands-on environment, and can juggle multiple HR functions with confidence. You'll be involved in everything from onboarding and payroll support to employee relations and compliance, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to deepen their HR expertise in a dynamic setting. Key Responsibilities: + Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, timekeeping, and HR policies + Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires across departments + Support payroll adjustments and weekly timecard reviews + Assist with workers' compensation claims, FMLA, and short-term disability tracking + Guide employees and managers through separation procedures and exit interviews + Maintain accurate employee records and assist with compliance reporting Requirements + 2-4 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting + Familiarity with California labor laws and HR compliance standards + Strong interpersonal and communication skills + Experience with HRIS and timekeeping systems + Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
