Division: Nucor Steel Tuscaloosa, Inc. Location: Tuscaloosa, AL, United States Other Available Locations: N/A Basic Job Functions: The Environmental Engineer will be responsible for leading the safety, sustainability, and environmental compliance at the division. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining compliance with all safety and environmental requirements, implementation and management of environmental programs (air, water, waste, radiation) including permitting and reporting. This individual will also play an integral role in the education and training of the team, engaging with the plant wide team for solutions to problems and promote continual improvement, and participate in community outreach initiatives. Nucor teammates are expected to participate in and promote an atmosphere of cooperation and teamwork while maintaining compliance in all areas.
